As someone who stood as a Labour Parliamentary Candidate at the 2015 General Election and whose day job is as an NHS Hospital Specialist, I am supporting Andy for Leadership of the Labour Party because he will reconnect with the British public and because he has a vision that is fit for the 21st Century

I have worked closely with Andy over the last few years. He is authentic, and he talks sense. People instantly warm to him. He understands the challenges that people face day to day.

We need a Labour Leader who will stand up to David Cameron in the House of Commons for the sake of what we in Labour believe in. Andy will fight for our Public Services and for the NHS which is so close to his heart. He will work with small businesses to help them to grow and he will work tirelessly to create job and life opportunities for all young people, including the less advantaged. 

Andy speaks to the millions of voters who wanted change but didn’t trust Labour with their vote this time.

His manifesto puts the citizen at the centre of the political agenda. The public sector and business will work together to achieve a stable and secure society, with a guarantee of prosperity and opportunity for all. His narrative gives everyone in our country an alternative to the current Conservative Government.

Above all Andy has shown that there is an alternative to austerity and to relentless erosion of our public services at a national and local level. As leader of the Labour Party, Andy will deliver a Labour Government for all in 2020.
